Our Story

Mindful Meadows emerged from a shared journey of exploring how ecological principles can guide not only land design, but also human wellbeing, organizational health, and community resilience. Both trained as permaculture designers and teachers through the Permaculture Association of Britain, we recognized that regeneration happens at multiple scales—from soil to soul, from gardens to governance.

Hamidur’s background in marine engineering brought systems thinking and technical precision to ecological design, while his studies in psychology and Islamic counselling deepened understanding of the connection between inner and outer ecology. Tasnim’s expertise in organizational psychology and human resource management revealed how permaculture principles could transform workplace culture and leadership approaches.

Together, we created Mindful Meadows as a platform to integrate these dimensions— honoring the wisdom of traditional ecological knowledge, the insights of systems thinking, the depth of spiritual traditions, and the practical needs of organizations and communities seeking regenerative pathways.

Our work is guided by the belief that true regeneration requires both outer action and inner transformation. As we heal landscapes, we also cultivate awareness. As we design systems, we also develop people. This is where inner and outer worlds grow together.
